Brigette Evans

Practice Director
Principal Occupational Therapist
Accredited Hand Therapist

Brigette is a highly experienced Occupational Therapist and an Accredited Hand Therapist with the AHTA. She began her studies at the University of Sydney and went on to gain valuable clinical experience at a specialist Upper Limb Clinic in Brisbane. In 2012, Brigette returned to her hometown of Bathurst, and in 2014, she founded Bathurst Hand Therapy to provide dedicated care to her local community.

A proud Bathurst local, Brigette attended Bathurst South Public School and Kelso High School before heading away for university and work.

Outside of work, Brigette enjoys spending time with her family, gardening on their farm, running, playing sports, cooking, and indulging in great food. She’s always up for a bit of fun—especially if it involves a slip and slide!

Natasha Trotter

Physiotherapist
Undertaking an Early Career Fellowship in Hand Therapy

Natasha is our wonderful upper limb Physiotherapist. She first studied at the university of Southern Cross completing her Bachelor of Human Movement and Exercise Science, before going on to complete her Masters of Physiotherapy Studies from the University of Queensland.

Outside of work, Natasha enjoys swimming, dancing, playing with her kids, and heading to the city to catch all the musicals.

We are very lucky here at Bathurst Hand Therapy as Natasha travels to Bathurst to consult, from the Blue Mountains where she has lived for the past 10 years.

She has a passion for scar and oedema (swelling) management, and when she’s not working or with her kids, she is often found tending to her growing collection of succulents or experimenting with succulent art projects.

Grace Finlayson

Administration Manager

Grace is our admin manager extraordinaire and the friendly face behind the scenes at Bathurst Hand Therapy. She’s been working alongside Brigette for nearly five years and loves every minute of her role – as well as being part of the Bathurst Hand Therapy family.

Born and bred in Bathurst, Grace is proud to call this vibrant and opportunity-filled town home. Outside of work, she keeps busy reading, sewing, playing sport, and spending quality time with her partner and their energetic three-year-old.

She’s also bravely taken on a second university degree – because clearly, she doesn’t believe in too much spare time! A true book love, Grace owns over 300 books – almost a third of the way to officially qualifying as a small library.

Julie McCauley

Administration

Julie is the friendly face you’ll often hear first on the phone or see at the front desk. She handles everything from answering calls and booking appointments to managing accounts, ordering stock, and keeping the clinic running smoothly day to day. Always up for a chat with patients, Julie brings warmth and efficiency to every part of her role.

After 34 years in her first and previous job, Julie enjoys being part of a locally owned and run business again.

Born and bred in Bathurst, Julie grew up in Yetholme before moving into town to raise her three kids with her husband. She loves living in Bathurst and has no plans to leave anytime soon.

Outside of work, you’ll find Julie at the gym, running with family and friends, camping, cooking, or cheering on her daughters at hockey. She also enjoys playing with her dogs and visiting her son in Queensland whenever she gets the chance.

Known affectionately around the office as the “Ex-Employee of the Month’, Julie has successfully converted everyone into Yeti users. She loves using one of her multiple Yetis for her morning skim cap – ideally with a side of whatever tasty treat is on offer at Café Viva.

Dianne Jarman

Administration

Di is a friendly and familiar face at our front desk – when she’s not off adventuring in her caravan! As our all-rounder receptionist, Di brings warmth, energy and a touch of humour to every interaction. She adds the homely touch to our beautiful work space.

Outside of work, she’s a proud mum of five and a devoted nanny to five beautiful grandchildren. When she’s not spending time with her family, you will find her running with friends, gardening, at the gym, or getting creative with sewing projects. Di loves making people smile and it shows in everything she does.

Zara Judge

Administration

Zara is the friendly face that greets you when you arrive at Bathurst Hand Therapy. As our receptionist, she loves helping people feel at ease and making sure each day runs smoothly for both patients and our team.

Her warm, approachable nature helps create the welcoming environment we’re so proud of.

Being a true Bathurst local, Zara has always loved the strong sense of community and the special mix of country charm that comes with living here. When she is not at work, you’ll often find her spending time with family, planning her next travel adventure, or relaxing with a good book or movie.
